Power line Ethernet adapters enable IP cameras to connect to a network using standard power plugs and existing power wires. Each of the powerline adapter kits that wondertek supplies includes two adapters. Typically, one adapter is connected to an IP PoE camera (or any other type of network device) and the other adapter is connected to a network router. As long as the two power plugs are on the same circuit breaker, a connection will be made. It is that simple.
